In 2018, I started my own company from a small office near Cherthala. We had limited resources but a strong vision. Every step forward required sacrifice, commitment, and perseverance. Over time, we expanded our operations and eventually shifted to Infopark, Cherthala.

As a young entrepreneur, I repeatedly attempted to connect with various authorities and leaders to present our ideas and aspirations. Despite several efforts, I was unable to secure direct interactions. Eventually, I received support from a respected individual whose political views were entirely different from my own. Despite those differences, he chose to help me. That experience taught me that humanity, fairness, and kindness are greater than political affiliations.

One particular journey would later become especially significant. In 2016, during a motorcycle trip from Bengaluru to Sabarimala via Theni on my Royal Enfield Bullet, I first visited the Sathram region near the Sabarimala forest route. I was deeply moved by its natural beauty, spiritual atmosphere, forests, mountains, and sense of peace.

From that day onward, I continued visiting Sathram regularly, particularly during my annual Sabarimala pilgrimages. Because of my long-standing connection with Sathram, I eventually decided to pursue a dream that combined spirituality, nature, travel, and hospitality.

On 8 November 2025, together with my friend Arun M.J., who was also my college mate at Government Engineering College Barton Hill, I started a homestay venture near the Sabarimala forest route at Sathram. For us, this was never merely a business venture. It was the realisation of a dream that had been growing within us for many years.

Our vision was to establish a welcoming space where pilgrims, travellers, nature enthusiasts, and families could experience the beauty, tranquillity, and spiritual atmosphere of Sathram. The homestay represented years of dreams, hard work, friendship, and hope — a new beginning after years of professional struggles, personal challenges, and emotional hardships.

Then came one of the happiest moments of my life. On 26 March 2021, I got engaged. My family and I looked forward to a future filled with happiness, stability, and hope. However, less than three months later, tragedy struck.

On 12 June 2021, at approximately 8:30 PM, my father was involved in a serious road accident. That night changed the course of my life. When we sought answers, we were informed that there was insufficient evidence to identify the vehicle responsible. I found it difficult to accept that the matter would remain unresolved.

Consequently, I personally began investigating the incident. I collected CCTV footage, followed up on eyewitness accounts, tracked vehicle movements, and carefully pieced together all available evidence. Through these efforts, I eventually identified a suspected vehicle number and submitted the information to the concerned authorities.

However, a few days later, I was informed that the vehicle I had identified was allegedly not involved. At that point, I felt helpless.

The accident deeply affected both me and my family. Although life continued, my mind remained trapped by the unanswered questions surrounding the incident. My confidence declined, my focus weakened, and the company that I had worked so hard to build was no longer progressing as I had hoped because a significant portion of my attention remained fixed on my father's case.

Seeking stability, I later joined a global payment network company as a Cloud Engineer. Professionally, it was a valuable opportunity that provided financial security and exposure to large-scale technology environments. Yet, despite career progress, I often felt that life was moving forward without happiness. The questions surrounding my father's accident never truly left my mind.

Unfortunately, we repeatedly encountered disputes, objections, and disruptions that affected our ability to operate the business smoothly. On multiple occasions, we chose patience over confrontation. We forgave those involved and attempted to resolve matters amicably because our priority was maintaining peace and focusing on our venture rather than engaging in conflict.

Despite our efforts, the situation continued to escalate. The emotional and financial pressure gradually increased. Sathram was supposed to be a new beginning in my life — a place where I could build something meaningful and find peace.

One incident that remains particularly painful occurred during preparations for a special gathering at our property. We had planned to stream the Brazil vs. Morocco FIFA World Cup 2026 Group C match during the early hours of 14 June 2026 and were looking forward to bringing together guests and friends for the occasion. However, disturbances and conflicts surrounding our operations once again disrupted those plans and deeply affected us.

The resulting events later became widely discussed on social media. While I acknowledge that emotions ran high and mistakes may have been made by different parties during the course of the conflict, the reality is that the situation developed after a prolonged period of repeated disputes and unresolved issues.

I would like to place on record my sincere appreciation for the courage, professionalism, and commitment demonstrated by CI Amar Singh Nayaka. At a time when tensions were high and many people were hesitant to take responsibility, he displayed the courage to act in accordance with the law and take necessary action against those allegedly involved in unlawful activities.

His actions reinforced my belief that there are still officers willing to perform their duties fearlessly, regardless of pressure or influence. I would also like to acknowledge the efforts of all law enforcement officers who acted professionally and fearlessly when intervention became necessary.
